Josef Sen.
Founder, visionary and problem-solver. Josef founded Destillerie Farthofer in 2003 as a one-man show and built it up, step by step, into what it is today. To this day, he bubbles over with new ideas – sometimes faster than the rest of the team can keep up with. His hair may have thinned over the years – but his ideas have more than made up for it.
Mario – Laura – Josef Jun.
Young, motivated and equipped with a remarkable wealth of know-how. Mario, Laura and Josef Jun. each bring their own strengths and areas of expertise – together, they form the backbone of our production. Anyone who thinks hard work has gone out of fashion clearly hasn't seen these three in action. As a team, they're a force to be reckoned with.
Elmira and Michelle
Every company is only as good as its back office – and that's exactly why Elmira and Michelle are indispensable. Whether it's phone calls, emails, invoices or the big and small matters of everyday business: the two of them keep all the threads together behind the scenes. Much of what looks effortless from the outside only works because they stay on top of everything, every single day.

Sylvia looks after western Austria for us. She feels right at home among mountains, alpine pastures and hospitality businesses, and knows the region inside out. With a great sense of humour, boundless energy and her open, approachable nature, she makes connections where others are still breaking the ice. Always friendly, always motivated and rarely at a loss for a witty remark.
Mario
Mario is our quality manager and the guardian of all our standards. With vast expertise, tremendous dedication and an eye for the smallest detail, he ensures that everything runs cleanly, safely and correctly. His meticulous way of working can be challenging at times – but for our quality, it's absolutely priceless.
Matthias
Matthias is responsible for social media and marketing. Through photos, videos and creative ideas, he brings Destillerie Farthofer to life online – reaching millions of people in the process. He's known throughout the entire operation for his spontaneous video shoots – sometimes dreaded, but absolutely indispensable.
Martin
Martin is our man in the field. With his blue New Holland, a wealth of experience and a genuine passion, he takes care of everything our organic farming operation needs. Always hard at work, always on the move — and unfailingly friendly. A smile comes just as naturally to him as his tractor.
