Farthofer's Homestory #9

Dining out at a restaurant for the first time again, the kids are back at kindergarten – even if some of the restrictions are still a little tedious, it's a step in the right direction. A sense of everyday life is slowly returning. For the long weekend, we of course have another recipe for a refreshing drink lined up. Because enjoyment should never be shortchanged!

A recipe idea to recreate at home

Cocktail Le Gurk

  • 5 to 6 pieces of Bio cucumber

  • 2 cl Bio elderflower syrup

  • 2 cl freshly squeezed Bio lemon juice

  • 5 cl Lepold Dry Gin

  • 5 cl naturally cloudy apple juice (Hechal)

This cocktail is very easy to make at home. In a cocktail shaker, combine the cucumber pieces with the elderflower syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice and muddle firmly. Then add all remaining ingredients and shake vigorously.

For a beautiful foam, we recommend double-straining the cocktail. For decoration, garnish the Le Gurk with a slice of cucumber and a fresh sprig of thyme. Done!
