What do our customers do with our specialities?

We asked ourselves this question just last week – and shortly afterwards, in walked Norbert Moser. The Mostviertel-based diploma sommelier has been running his own cocktail catering company for 10 years now. He has mixed cocktails in 15 different countries around the world, gathering a wealth of experience along the way. He whispered to us how he loves to enjoy our LEOPOLD Organic Sloe Gin. That got us curious, so he kindly wrote down his recommendation for us.

We haven't had the chance to mix it up ourselves just yet, but we'll be catching up on that as soon as possible. Until then, we're enjoying our Sloe Gin solo – neat on ice!

Of course, we didn't want to keep his recipe to ourselves, so here it is – have fun giving it a try! We hope his recipe inspires you, and we'd love to hear more ideas. Let us know how you most enjoy our treasures! We can't wait to find out.

  • Sloe Gin Bubble Ale

5 cl LEOPOLD Organic Sloe Gin

    15 cl Ginger Ale

    1 cl fresh cucumber juice

    1 cl pomegranate syrup

1/8 squeeze the juice of a lime into the glass

    approx. 10 fresh pomegranate seeds

Garnish: pomegranate wedge and thinly sliced cucumber

Method:
Fill a highball glass with double-frozen ice cubes, then stir all the ingredients together in the glass until chilled. Garnish the cocktail with a cucumber skewer and a pomegranate wedge.

Alternative – shaken:
Shake all ingredients except the ginger ale, strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes, then top up with ginger ale.

Serving suggestion:
Be sure to serve the drink with a wide straw so you can draw the pomegranate seeds up through the straw and savour them as you go.
