Düsseldorf is calling us back. From this coming Sunday, the city on the Rhine will be the centre of the wine and spirits world for three days. The ProWein is the most important trade fair in our industry. This year it takes place for the 25th time. Josef will be there with our classic pear expressions, the Mostello, the O-Line, and of course our new whiskies.

ProWein holds a very special place in our hearts. A few years ago, something quite extraordinary happened to us there. On the last day — most of the samples Josef had brought along were already gone — he received a visitor at our stand. A representative from the IWSC (International Wine & Spirits Competition) wanted us to enter their competition. Josef handed over the samples he still had enough of — the vodka, for instance. Months later, the call came: the jury had named our vodka the best vodka in the world. From that moment on, a great deal changed at our distillery. In fact, EVERYTHING changed.

And so we've been returning to ProWein regularly ever since. This time we're bringing our clear pear brandies to showcase the diversity of the Mostviertel. Of course the Mostello will be there too, along with the bar spirits from our O. Series. And then there's malt and whisky. We'll be presenting a range of our own home-malted malts, as well as whiskies made from different grain varieties. In short, we'll be taking to the Düsseldorf stage with a broad and exciting line-up.

You'll find us in Hall 17, Stand A 37. That's the legendary Austrian hall. The success of the very first ProWein 25 years ago still rests on the same brilliant concept. Here it's professionals talking to professionals — senior decision-makers above all. This inspiring atmosphere creates the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and successful deals. Key importing nations such as the USA, Great Britain, Scandinavia and the Benelux countries regularly top the visitor list. Equally significant is the draw for global growth markets, with trade visitors from Eastern Europe and Asia.
