In 2 days it is time. On 10th March Barbara van Melle opens the doors of the Kursalon Hübner and invites to the bread festival #krusteundkrume. This makes Vienna the bread capital and hotspot of the bakery trade.

We are also on board. But we do not bake, we burn. So we contribute two fires that also give the stale bread sense: Bread Spirit Black, a sensational black bread-scented bread brandy, the smell of fennel, anise and coriander and the malty-yellow fruity Bread Spirit White, the baguette for adults. 40% Vol. And strictly limited.

Our fires can be tasted at the Brotfestival Kruste & Krume in the Lehár Hall of the Kursalon Hübner.

Crust & crumb bread festival

The successful Krust & Krume Bread Festival will be held for the third time on 10th March 2018.

34 bakers will be present at this year’s festival. They come from all over Austria and for the first time guests from Piedmont (Italy) and Bratislava (Slovakia) arrive, with specialties from the Slow Food Ark of Taste.

At the large bakery market, outstanding bakery products are offered, the stage show provides interesting facts about craftsmanship, bakery craft can be experienced up close in the bakery and everything revolves around bread in the upper storey of the Kursalon. In the new baking world you will find everything you need for baking bread. The best bakers of Austrian mills, seeds, spices and a sourdough exchange, the Brotbackbeisisterte invites you to swap the cultures. The baking competition lures again with recognition and great prizes, children can bake gratuitously in the children’s bakery and PANEUM, the new Austrian bread museum kidnapped in the history of the bakers guild.

Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 09:00 to 19:00 at Kursalon Hübner (Stadtpark in Vienna, Austria)

Tickets are available online at ntry.at: https://ntry.at/krusteundkrume By the way: For children under 12 years, admission is free!
